Please read these Terms carefully before using EdChat on the web or in our apps. They govern your use of the EdChat platform operated by BMR EDUCATION.

    1.Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using EdChat through our website, web application, or any official client we provide, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BMR EDUCATION ("Company", "we", "us"). EdChat is owned and operated by BMR EDUCATION. All features available on the web and in-app are offered in that context. We may update these Terms at any time; we will provide notice by email or an in-product notice when changes are material.

    2.Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use EdChat. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.

EdChat is intended for students and individuals for educational purposes. Commercial use of AI-generated content for resale without explicit permission is prohibited.

    3.Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Your EdChat account is linked to your BMR EDUCATION account profile and is used to access EdChat services provided by BMR EDUCATION, including when you sign in on the web.

    • Keep your password secure and do not share it with others.
    • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
    • You may not create accounts using automated means or register an account on behalf of someone else without permission.
    • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

    4.Acceptable Use

You agree not to use EdChat to:

    • Generate, share, or distribute harmful, illegal, harassing, or abusive content.
    • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or circumvent any security or rate-limiting mechanisms.
    • Use automated scripts to send messages or create accounts in bulk.
    • Harvest or scrape data from the platform without written permission.
    • Impersonate other individuals or organizations.
    • Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

    5.AI-Generated Content

EdChat uses AI models to generate responses. Please be aware of the following:

Accuracy: AI responses may contain errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies. Always verify critical information from authoritative sources.
Educational Use: Content generated by EdChat is for personal educational use only. It should not be used as professional medical, legal, financial, or other advice.
Academic Integrity: You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with your institution's academic integrity policies. EdChat does not take responsibility for academic misconduct.
Ownership: You retain ownership of the messages you submit. AI-generated responses are provided under a limited license for your personal use.

    6.Credits & Billing

EdChat uses a credit-based system for AI generation on the web and in connected clients:

    • Free accounts receive a monthly credit allowance that resets on your billing anniversary.
    • Paid plans unlock higher credit limits and additional features.
    • Credits are non-transferable and expire at the end of each billing cycle if unused.
Payments: Subscription checkout and account billing run on www.bmreducation.com (PhonePe UPI). chat.bmreducation.com does not process payments. Android users may also subscribe via Google Play in the EdChat app. Use one platform at a time.
    • Refunds for Google Play purchases follow Google Play policies. Web (PhonePe) billing issues: contact [email protected] with your order reference from www.bmreducation.com → Account → Subscription.

    7.Intellectual Property

The EdChat platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned and operated by BMR EDUCATION and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission. Providing feedback or suggestions grants us a license to implement those ideas without obligation to you.

    8.Privacy

Your use of EdChat is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. By using the Service on the web or otherwise, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
